I came across this recipe online, as always…amirite?! LOL Was craving chicken and peanut butter, and this recipe ticked those boxes nicely. I know what you see in the photo, doesn’t look like much, but we really liked it. Next time I’ll make this the same way, but will add veggies for sure!! The flavours melded together nicely…I even put more peanut butter then it called for, but that’s me!! It will definitely be added to our rotation. Next time I’ll also try my best to remember the cilantro and peanuts as garnish LOL I’m sure you’ll enjoy this one too, if you’re a peanut butter lover too!!

No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars

I was in the mood for PB and chocolate the other day, so I fired up the interweebs to look for a recipe. That’s where, I came across this lovely no-bake one, and knew I just had to try it. The notes in the recipe states ‘Reese’s Who?’. Indeed!! 😉 It definitely reminds me of a Reese’s PB cup, and even better, it tastes less sweet then one. I always find, that by the end of eating, one of those cups, the sweetness gets to me. These devilishly scrumptious squares, don’t affect me the same way, which I very much enjoy 🙂 If you’re like me, then I believe you’ll enjoy this recipe as well!! Instead of a 13×9 pan, I made these in a 9×9 pan instead, as I thought they’d be too thin spread onto a longer pan. I cut the chilled square into 36 smaller squares, which are the perfect serving size for us. If you end up trying this recipe for yourself, and do make it in a 13×9 pan, I’d love to hear how it turned out!! Kraft Chocolate Peanut Butter

So, I’ve always loved Nutella…I mean…chocolate and hazelnut…enough said right? WRONG. Chocolate and peanut butter…of course!! Funny thing is I LOVE the choco-peanut combo, so I’m not sure why it took me so long, to actually get around to trying this PB. I’ll tell you…I won’t be going back to Nutella ever again, because Kraft’s Chocolate PB hits every craving spot. If you haven’t tried it yet, I would definitely recommend you do, you may not go back to Nutella either LOL

Made a Stop at Bake Sale in Etobicoke This Week

It was my BFF’s birthday this week, and I wanted to get her a treat, so I stopped at the Bake Sale Shop. Last time my hubby and I had gotten Chocolate Mint, Chocolate Peanut Butter and Strawberry Shortcake. And this time, we got (counter clock wise) Chocolate Peanut Butter, Lemon, Nutella and Red Velvet. We’ve tried the Lemon and Red Velvet, and to be honest, the Lemon was disappointing. The Red Velvet was good though, especially since it had a cream cheese frosting, which is how it should be. Next up will be the Nutella…hopefully it won’t disappoint either!!

Holiday Baking Part II

So…since the Pumpkin Cream Cheese bars were less then stellar, taste wise for us, I continued on the hunt for another bar recipe!! I came across this Chewy Peanut Butter Brownie recipe, and thought…how can you go wrong with peanut butter right? Never!! These were ridiculously delicious. Super peanut buttery flavour (mind you I doubled the peanut butter measurement :D). To describe it best, it tasted like a brownie shaped chewy peanut butter cookie. OMG doesn’t even cover it. Totally omnomnom-worthy!! If you love PB as much as we do, you’ll definitely love this recipe. It’s easy to make and bakes in about 30mins. This one’s definitely a keeper, for a quick sweet treat any time of year, and may be added to my holiday baking this year!!
