Chocxo Organic Almond Butter Cups

Saw these at Costco tonight and we thought we’d give them a try. First I’ll say they were pretty good and we enjoyed the taste of the almond butter. It’s nowhere near as sweet as a Reese’s PB Cup, which is nice! Our son even put his stamp of approval on it 🙂 But I must say, I personally like milk chocolate for this particular treat. Which is not to say that I don’t like darker chocolate, because I do! We’ll continue to enjoy these chocolatey goodies for sure though and even buy them again.

Bon Appetite Everyone!! 🙂

These are so yummy, I had to have two!! They may be my favourite cookie by Voortman now. If you love coconut as much as I do, grab a package and enjoy it with a cup a tea or on their own.

Bark Thins Dark Chocolate Coconut with Almonds Snacking Chocolate

The name is a mouthful isn’t it?? But a flavourful one at that!! My hubby and I really enjoyed these. We love almost anything covered in dark chocolate though…especially coconut and almond!! They’re a great light snack when you’re craving chocolate but don’t want a lot. We’ll be enjoying these again sometime for sure. Grab a bag yourselves and see for yourselves…

Ferrero Cupcake? Yes Please!!

Over the weekend, we were at Vaughan Mills Mall, and there’s a cupcake shop there called We Bake In Heels. They first started out with a very posh looking stall in the middle of the walkway, but since then, have moved up to a store front. They sell a variety of cupcakes there, but you can also have cakes designed for any occasion. The poor girl behind the counter has to wear heels while she works, but she did look fabulous, and had a stool to sit at when no one was looking!!

They had a choice of Cookies’n’Cream, Classic Vanilla, Classic Chocolate, Ferrero and Red Velvet. Although the Red Velvet was scrumptious looking, we…well…mostly me…decided on trying the Ferrero cupcake this time around. It’s a dark chocolate cupcake, with a Nutella filling, chocolate buttercream and sprinkled with crushed hazelnuts. The Nutella filling alone, was what drew me to this particular cupcake. And it didn’t disappoint!! It was fresh, chocolatey, and the Nutella…well…omnomnom!! The only downside is the price. Each cupcake is $3.75, which to me is pricey, but at the same time makes it a treat. So, if you’re ever at Vaughan Mills, give them a try!!
