Tim Hortons Smile Cookies Are Back!!
My hubby went to get us coffees yesterday, when the smile cookie caught his eye. So he bought a couple, for a sweet snack to go with our coffee, as well as to help support local charities. They’re available from Sept 11th – 17th, so grab one the next time you stop by a Tim Hortons, and help your local charities.

Tim Hortons Churro Donut…is it though??
The two words ‘churro donut’, in and of itself, should make your mouth water – am I right?!?! It sure does mine. So when we saw that Timmy’s had created one of their own, we had to give it a try. At first glance it looks like a crueller covered in cinnamon sugar. And when I bit into it…that’s where it fell flat for me. It tasted just as I described above with the addition of a caramel filling I could do without. Now, for a crueller covered in cinnamon sugar, it hit the mark for sure!! But to call it a churro is sadly a gross overstatement.

Tim Hortons Whoopie Pie Donut
A few week’s back, we noticed Timmy’s had 3 types of sandwich-style donuts. So we decided to try the Whoopie Pie one. Sadly, I have to say it wasn’t anything special, with barely any whipped cream. Definitely not worth the extra change they charge for them, which sucks, because they looked good on the shelf…ah well.

Tim Hortons Maple Iced Cappuccino?? Yes Please!!
When I got the email, from Timmy’s that they had come out with it, we had to give it a try. If you’ve ever had a regular Iced Capp from Timmy’s it’s nummy on it’s own. Add maple to the mix and it makes it better!! Of course I’m biased, as I love maple anything. If you have a love for maple too, then I suggest you give it a try!! Not sure how long it’ll be around for, as it’s a seasonal flavour…

For $1 you get a nummy Smile Cookie where 100% of the proceeds support local charities, like hospitals, food banks and children’s programs. So indulge in a $1 cookie to enjoy and help your local charities in the process. We got ours last night to share and it definitely was nummy and always makes us feel good that we’re helping out too…

Salted Caramel Timbit from Tim Hortons
Saw these available at Timmy’s a while back, and we decided to give them a try. Not bad!! The flavour was just right, and not too in your face. If you’re a fan of the salted caramel flavour, then give it a try, as a timbit or donut.

Earlier today, we stopped by Tim Hortons, after hearing they were giving out free donuts. For their 50th birthday, they created a birthday cake donut, which they gave out. It was glazed, and had confetti candy pieces, baked inside. It was OK, but one I wouldn’t have again…
