Last month we saw this frapp featured at Starbucks. Since we’re fans of the original Mocha Frappuccino, we thought we’d give this a try and indulge in the triple goodness!! It didn’t disappoint, and we enjoyed it. But I will admit, I was expecting a bit more mocha. Now, if you’re already a fan of the Mocha Frappuccino, you’ll enjoy this one too, and I recommend you give it a try.

Full disclosure, I have not tried this Instagram-worthy concoction. After reading the review below, I was contemplating it, but so far people I know haven’t liked it. One friend even said ‘I’ve heard it tastes like regret lol’…LOL . So, as cool as this frapp looks, I’ll be passing on it. But, take a read of the review below, and decide for yourselves. If you’re a big fan of SUPER sweet green apple flavour, then this may interest you!! It’s available until November 1st.

So I didn’t get the chance to try out the Unicorn Lemonade from Starbucks a couple weeks ago…boo. But when I heard about the Midnight Mint Mocha, I knew I wasn’t going to miss this one!! Mint + chocolate is a magical combination, and this frapp hit it out of the park. I will definitely get another one next week during their 1/2 price frapps happy hour. Really hope they add it to their permanent menu, since to me, this is WAY better then the Java Chip Frapp. If you love mint and chocolates, then be sure to give this one a try, before it disappears – like the elusive unicorn…

Apparently it’s back for the summer, but I had never tried it before. So a while ago, I decided to, and it didn’t disappoint!! Tasted pretty close to a s’more, with the blend of chocolate and marshmallow. Will definitely have it again. If you’re a fan of s’mores, I think you may like this Frapp too…

I usually get my Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks hot, but the other day I felt warm so wanted a cold version, as I’d never tried it anyway. First I asked the barista what the Frapp version tasted like, and she said it tastes a lot more like pumpkin pie – SOLD!! So, gave it a shot, and it definitely didn’t disappoint!! It was like having a piece of pumpkin pie out of the fridge with whipped cream…omnomnom. I won’t lie though it WAS sweet, so if I have it again, I’ll ask for half sweet. If you like pumpkin pie or anything pumpkin, that comes with this time of season, then I think you’ll enjoy the cold version of the beloved ‘PSL’.

Mmm…coffee slushie with whipped cream. Definitely my new flavour now!! Doesn’t hurt, that Starbucks has a happy hour promo for 1/2 price frapps, from 3-5pm everyday May 1-10.

Last week Starbucks had a promo going on, where frappuccinos were half price from 3-5pm daily. I got all excited to give the Caramel Ribbon Crunch frapp a try, as it was new, and I’d never had it before. So, my hubby and I both got one, and I was sadly disappointed. Something about the caramel flavouring, just didn’t sit well on my palette. Mind you I am finicky when it comes to caramel, though recently introduced to salted caramel flavouring, and love the taste of it. Anyway, I ended up finishing it, but will never buy that particular flavour again. The next time they have this promo, I’ll give their Chocolate Cookie Crumble Frappuccino a go, as I do love chocolate!!

Found this recipe on Food.com, and thought I’d try it out. It’s nowhere near, as sugary or crazy high in calories, as the Starbucks version. Admittedly, it’s blander then the real thing, but for a substitute – it’s fine with me!!
